Enjoy this testimony from our team leader in West Virginia! Annetta reported:
“I met Jade four years ago while doing ministry in our local strip club. She was always very welcoming and even invited us to join them at the club for a dancer’s baby shower. I found out that she had not only been the manager of the dancers there, but also 12 other clubs throughout two different states.
I kept feeling the Holy Spirit pull me to her, as if Jesus was leaving the 99 for the one and she was it. Consistently I messaged words that He put on my heart for her as I prayed for her during my quiet time. I continued even when she became distant and non- responsive. He was also working behind the scenes helping to rescue this girl in ways we couldn’t see. Despite many rejections and times she didn’t answer when I reached out, I remained faithful as God gave me words to share. Through prayer, contacts, and looking for creative ways to help her, a real friendship began.
All these “loving touches” had an effect and now she is no longer working in the clubs at all! We remain in regular contact. She finally accepted one of my invites to dinner. This wasn’t as scary to her as going to a big church. It was just dinner with me and my sister. We were having a small Messianic Passover Seder meal. As the story of salvation was laid out over the meal, she remained focused on every word. She heard again that Jesus loves her and that He paid the ultimate price so that she is redeemed from her past. She learned that God has made a path to freedom for her too. This time she truly understood!
She told me after she went home that she slept peacefully for the first time in a very long time. She finally had the peace that is only found in the presence of our Savior Jesus! Please pray for Jade as she continues to walk this new path with Jesus as her Savior.”
